Ingredients

  • 3 medium red onions, diced
  • (1) 3.7 oz can chipotles in adobo sauce, chopped
  • 3 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 lbs ground beef, cooked
  • 2 lbs cooked brisket
  • (2) 28oz cans crushed tomatoes with juice
  • (1) 14 oz can diced tomatoes with juice
  • (2) 1.25 oz packets McCormick Tex-Mex Chili seasonings

Steps

  1. Add red onion, chipotles, garlic, and oil to pan. Cook on medium-high heat until onions are soft and translucent. Add cooked ingredients to large pot.
  2. Add cooked beef to pot.
  3. Chop brisket into bite sized pieces. Add to pot.
  4. Add remaining ingredients to pot smoke at 250° F for as long as you want (8~ hours?)
