Ingredients

  • 0.5 cups flour
  • 250g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp curry powder
  • 1 large Bud Light
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 large cod filet

Steps

  1. Put 0.5 cups flour on a plate.
  2. Mix 250g flour, baking powder, and curry powder in a large bowl. Slowly whisk in beer until you reach the consistency of pancake batter.
  3. Whisk egg whites to a stiff peak. Add to batter.
  4. Season cod with salt.
  5. Dredge cod in dry flour. Knock flour off. Add cod to batter.
  6. Cook cod in deep fryer at 375°F for 3.5 minutes
  7. Serve with Tartar Sauce
